Why work with Square Daisy on an events video?

Live events videos are a broad term for videos that cover a whole range of different objectives. These might be:

  • Filming a conference to showcase afterwards in a bid to get more people to come to the next one
  • Getting footage of speakers and workshops through a conference to demonstrate credibility and expertise in the sector which lasts longer than the day of the event
  • Gathering content from a party or event where you want to showcase the location or setting, such as a high-end Christmas party in a marquee
  • Putting together an edit for a large exhibition to entice more visitors and exhibitors the following year
  • Live streaming an event direct to web, based on the limitations of venue or distance for potential delegates to travel, or to increase revenues by showing a live stream from behind a pay-wall
  • Publicising charity or fundraising activities before and after the occasion

Omron invited us to come to their showcase for flexible manufacturing to film their full demo set-up and conference. We love filming robots, so we packed up the kit and headed to Bolton!

IISS Shangri-La Dialogue

This is the fourth year we have created a video for the very prestigious Shangri-La Dialogue, which are all projected on huge screens. The scale of the event and the videos that we produce for the client is massive, with prime ministers and defence secretaries from all around the world in attendance.

What’s on in Guildford? Christmas 2021

As a collaboration between the Business Improvement District and Guildford Borough Council, Experience Guildford approached us to create a video to promoting all the festive activities and events around the city centre for locals and shoppers visiting the centre.

RBBC – Careers Event

Every year Reigate and Banstead Borough Council have a careers event to encourage the teenagers coming through to think about what they might want to do and tell them about the vast range of opportunities on their doorstep.

NATO

Traditionally the pitch videos that we work on are for companies or individuals that are looking for investment or tendering for a sizeable project. In this case we were helping one of the most well known organisations on the planet, NATO, to pitch a new structure for a new world to those responsible for its success. This shows that 'pitch' videos can be used in many different ways to get across a message that needs buy-in.

CEA Technical Boilerhouse Conference 2017

The guys at CEA wanted Square Daisy to create a promotional video for their conferences to highlight what they are about and why it is important for members and non-members to attend.

Experience Guildford – Customer Service Awards

Experience Guildford hired Square Daisy for a local business awards project, where they needed footage of 43 shortlisted businesses/individuals to be shot and compiled to be able to play at the awards ceremony.

SLS Legal Awards – Event Video

The Surrey Law Society are a membership organisation, representing over 1000 solicitors across Surrey. Each year they host the SLS Legal Awards to recognise the exceptional legal talent in the region, and Square Daisy attended both as the Entertainment Sponsor and the film crew to document the awards for a post-event celebration and promotional material for the following year.

The Surrey Chargers

Chobham Rugby Club have a Mixed Ability Team - The Surrey Chargers - who have earned a spot in the International Mixed Ability Rugby Tournament in Cork. The grassroots club has worked incredibly hard to get their team up to competition standard and to get a wide variety of players involved, and now they are looking to fundraise to get the team to the tournament, which is where we come in.
