U-Explore is a digital business concerned primarily with creating web based media packages for secondary school students to assist in careers advice and planning. Because of the complex nature of the platform in terms of the number of curriculum areas it supported, the decision was taken to create a video for the website homepage to explain the problem rather than focus initially on the solution. Square Daisy were charged with delivering a concept including script, which included a mix of motion graphics and live action footage shot in a studio to bring context to the salient points, along with screen footage from the software together with a professional voiceover from a Galaxy FM DJ.
TECHNICAL TRAINING FOUNDATION
Graphical user interface design, user journey concept, technical build, media creation and marketing channel support
The Technical Training Foundation is a revolutionary new mechanism to support teachers in design, technology and engineering fields of education to keep up to date with the latest industry processes to better equip their students for entry into the world of work. Square Daisy were key players in the birth of the foundation and were charged with all elements of brand identity development and communicating a simple idea with myriad complexities to the outside world. There were two elements to the online offer, the first being the corporate website, which allowed the two central stakeholders to understand the very different propositions on offer. In order to keep a single site but separate the information these stakeholders accessed Square Daisy developed a landing page which directed potential members to one side (teachers) and supporters (businesses and 3rd sector organisations) to another side. The way the information was packaged in the same way to keep uniformity but enabled the user to go on a methodical journey of understanding through the site culminating in a call to action to join or support. The backend system is built using a Wordpress system with embedded media on the Digital pages created by Square Daisy as part of the wider project.
BE ADDICTIVE
A full motion graphics piece to support investment and partnership pitches for a well established software development house
Addictive Interactive, a formerly traditional software development house, moved into the arena of online loyalty and rewards but was having difficulty in communicating the key points to some clients in the early days due to the innovative nature of the field. They tasked Square Daisy to script, conceptualise, record and deliver a short video that could be played at the start of pitch meetings with potential partners to give them a concise, consistent and compelling overview of the proposition. Follwoing the launch of the video, Addictive Interactive saw a significant increase in partner conversions with feedback confirming that the video allowed viewers not only to understand the principles of the opportunity far more clearly from the outset but they were also impressed with the investment in professional video the company had made as a marketing tool.
Halcyon Software, a multinational software development house, was looking to launch it's new product - Task Supervisor. The issue was that the product was not overwhelmingly visual and there would be a range of tutorial videos showing the product as part of the in depth sales process. This video was to be an attention grabbing edit to showcase the headline benefits to the target audience. As a result it was decided not to show the product in any way, but create a very 'teccy' feel of video using After Effects. The voiceover was delivered by a female artist to balance out the very masculine feel of the video with a very low level audio bedding to ensure the main messages were heard by the viewer.

A huge element of the Mediaventura brand is to cascade thier 'knowledge pieces' formulated both internally and also through guest writers - again disseminated through a variety of channels. A critical objective of the site was to consider the user journey culminating in a call to action, generating leads for the company to pursue deals. Media was an important element of the business with the facility to upload video content created by Square Daisy and also submitted with the permission of 3rd parties. The CMS needed to be agile and functional for 'on the hoof' updating and as such we chose to build the site using Joomla and a K2 plug in.
