Paladone – Christmas Campaign (Icon Lights Collection)

Overview

Paladone required a Christmas advertising campaign to promote their Icon Lights range – a collection of character-based lights featuring popular franchises including Marvel and other well-known entertainment properties.

The campaign needed to work across Amazon product pages and Amazon Prime advertising placements, requiring a clear, engaging video that could quickly communicate the product range within a strict 30-second format.

In addition to the primary advert, the content also needed to be adapted for multiple formats to support wider digital and mobile deployment.

The Challenge

The campaign needed to balance several key requirements:

  • Communicate multiple products within a single short-form advert
  • Capture attention quickly in a competitive retail environment
  • Meet strict Amazon advertising specifications (30-second maximum)
  • Work effectively both as a standalone advert and within platform ecosystems

At the same time, the tone needed to feel seasonal, engaging and suitable for a broad consumer audience, particularly in the run-up to Christmas.

Our Approach

We created a fast-paced, visually engaging advert designed to showcase the range while maintaining clarity and focus.

The video was structured to:

  • Introduce the product range quickly
  • Highlight recognisable characters and designs
  • Emphasise the visual appeal of the lights
  • Maintain strong pacing to hold attention throughout

The edit combined clean product visuals with energetic pacing, supported by music and simple on-screen messaging to reinforce key points without overcomplicating the content.

Platform & Delivery

The primary advert was produced as a 30-second master video to meet Amazon Prime advertising requirements.

From this, we created a range of additional assets to maximise usability across platforms:

  • 16:9 version for Amazon and web
  • 9:16 version for mobile and social
  • Shorter cutdowns for additional placements

This ensured the campaign could be deployed consistently across multiple channels without requiring separate productions.

The Outcome

The final campaign provided Paladone with a versatile set of video assets that could be used across both retail and advertising environments.

This allowed them to:

  • Present their Icon Lights range in a clear, engaging way
  • Maintain consistency across Amazon and digital channels
  • Maximise the value of a single production across multiple formats
  • Deliver a seasonal campaign aligned with platform requirements
