Raven Housing Trust – Shared Ownership

Buying a home by shared ownership is not sometihng that is well understood, with this animation for Raven Housing Trust explaining it in simple terms.

"I’ve worked with Jovan and Amy on a number of video projects and would absolutely recommend them. They literally became an extension of our team, quickly understanding the brief and bringing great ideas to the table. Each time they’ve been spot on with their delivery, which has always been on time and within budget. They may be local but they are mighty and that’s why we use them time and time again. No project is too big or small, they put 100% into it and the result is greater than the sum of its parts. Our go-to agency." - Suzy Moore - Marketing Manager, Raven Housing Trust

Our client, Raven Housing Trust, has a commercial arm to their business which involves building and selling properties as well as managing housing stock for the local authorities.  Often the best way for individuals to purchase these properties is via the shared ownership scheme, which allows people to buy some of their property and rent the rest.  This option is not well understood by people however, and as such Raven wanted to create an animation which delivered the key points quickly and in an easy to understand way.

At the same time we created a second animation which explained the process that new tenants would experience as they moved into their council house.  This had the benefit of using some of the same graphics and some economies of scale with voiceover recording, storyboarding and asset development.  The second animation can be seen below:
