After a coronavirus hiatus, the 2021 SLS Legal Awards were the biggest yet with 250 attendees, and Square Daisy were there to capture the night. We attended with 3 cameras, one static to capture the whole stage from the back of the room, one gimbal-mounted to weave between the crowds, and one shoulder-rigged for roving coverage of speeches, guest panels and of course the awards themselves! We also captured some vox pops from key attendees to get testimonials which formed the narrative of the edit, packaged together with compelling motion graphics to highlight key points and integrate b-roll to show the scale of the event.
SLS Legal Awards – Event Video
The Surrey Law Society are a membership organisation, representing over 1000 solicitors across Surrey. Each year they host the SLS Legal Awards to recognise the exceptional legal talent in the region, and Square Daisy attended both as the Entertainment Sponsor and the film crew to document the awards for a post-event celebration and promotional material for the following year.
