The brief for this project was to create a video that provided an educational resource for tenants about condensation in the home and how to prevent it. The tone gives a warm and informative impression without coming across as authoritarian or patronising. As part of the pre-production process we turned an educational leaflet into an engaging video script, and storyboarded the video out. The storyboard ensures that we know what we need to capture on camera, and the client has an expectation of what will be delivered. With Raven’s help we organised a filming location with very accommodating tenants and took a two-person crew to film the content. In the edit suite, we added on-screen text to emphasise key messages, and motion graphics to help understanding.
Raven Housing Trust – Healthy Homes
Many housing trust tenants struggle with condensation, which often leads to mould and in turn creates a wealth of issues. Many of these issues can be prevented by educating customers on the causes of condensation. As such, Raven were looking for an informative and instructional video to pass to customers so they can watch engaging visuals rather than read a leaflet.
