The Backstage Academy are an industry level training centre for live event filming. They are based at LS-Live in West Yorkshire which is the largest purpose-built production rehearsal arena complex in Europe.
The Backstage Academy is a reverse-engineered training scheme which creates the talent that professionals in the industry is required to fill the skills gap. To spread the word and attract future industry professionals they wanted a promo video. We wanted to capture testimonials from both students and aspirational professionals, and show off the facilities and visual aspects of the centre.
The final edit includes interspersing talking head interviews with footage of the specialist equipment and facilities, as well as behind-the-scenes shots of students and professionals really keeps the viewer engaged so that the maximum impact can be made in this promotional explainer video.
