Over the course of 12 action-packed days, we filmed a short movie for World of Santa, a large-scale, interactive project that brings the magic of Christmas right to families. The film allows parents to upload their child’s photo and name, so their little one can appear in the movie, with Santa even mentioning them by name! Managing this production was no easy task—we had a full crew on set, including sound engineers, actors, and even reindeer handlers! As producers, we at Square Daisy took on the challenge of coordinating every detail, making for an exciting but demanding couple of weeks of filming.
We worked with the script writer and the set designers to establish the best shots for the film. We ensured that the production schedule was created in the most efficient way which meant not shooting the film in chronological order, but taking into account set availability, talent availability and daylight.
